Project description

When the summer season arrives, it is normal to want to spend a little more time outdoors and enjoy pleasant summer evenings. For the realization of this project, our client wanted to build an outdoor gallery that would serve as a terrace. Our design and architectural team went to work to design a balcony built above a part of the roof located at the back of the residence. 

The first step was to build a wooden frame to support the new structure and ensure that it was securely attached to the house. We have added a patio door on the second floor to provide easy access to the new balcony. Our client chose a treated wood floor that is easy to clean and maintain. We have recommended metal stair railings that give him the possibility to slide a screen for optimal privacy. The client had enough space for a hammock, a barbecue and tables and chairs to great his guests. Finally, we added outdoor lamps to better enjoy the terrace once the evening came.
