In order to make their dream come true, Ahuntsic clients have called on us to renovate their kitchen and dining room, so that it will have a warmer and more contemporary style.
After having arranged the furniture and appliances, our team proceeded to a partial demolition of the kitchen and dining room. We started by removing the melamine counters and cabinets that dated back to the 1980s. Then, we removed the linoleum floor that had seen better days. Our customers have opted for a beautiful laminate floor for the entire kitchen and dining area. We also did some electrical work, including adding a dishwasher and stove in the counter area, and installing lighting fixtures.
For the kitchen, we opted for a custom-made kitchen counter with a wooden base and a quartz covering. The counter includes a dining area for three people, a single bowl sink and a stainless steel faucet. The counter area also includes an electric glass-ceramic stove and a dishwasher. We also installed a chimney hood and two ceramic tile backsplashes.
Our customers have opted for custom-made wooden kitchen cabinets in natural colour in the kitchen. The cabinet set includes several glass cabinets. For the dining room, we chose darker-shade custom-made wooden cabinets and drawers (some cabinets are glazed). We have added a small counter with a quartz cover and a stainless steel sink with a small bowl and faucet. For the lighting, our kitchen designer advised our customers to use suspended lamps for the two dining areas in the kitchen and dining room. For the rest of the two rooms, we installed ceiling lights and a few light bulbs under the cabinets.
