First, we removed the old split and scratched ceramic floor, replastered several areas, and refurbished the electrical system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To have more space at the kitchen table, we have built a bench that can accommodate at least two other people at the table. To maximize the storage of the dining room, we have added glass cabinets with shelves and built-in drawers on each side of the kitchen bench. We have also replaced the melamine countertop covering with a laminate covering that is more durable and easier to maintain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the abundant natural light in this part of the house, customers chose to add recessed bulbs under the cabinets and a light fixture suspended above the kitchen table.
