So, having the dining room and kitchen in one room allows you to make dining more enjoyable than ever. This Rosemont customer wanted to transform his kitchen space to include the dining room. Plus, he wished to have as much outdoor light as possible. With our kitchen designer, we took the time to conceptualize the client\u2019s vision in every detail. From this meeting emerged a dining room and kitchen renovation project with a modern and refined style, with some colourful accessories for a beautiful contrast effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project steps<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our first task was to demolish the original kitchen to create a canvas for a new kitchen and a dining room. We removed the linoleum floor and removed the counters and cabinets. Also, we carried out minor electrical work to optimize lighting and added a door to access the exterior. Plus, we installed a full-length window to meet the customer\u2019s lighting needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the entirety of this large room, we opted for a hardwood floor. For the kitchen, we built a custom kitchen island with a wooden base and granite covering. This island also includes a dining area for four people as well as melamine drawers and cabinets. In addition, we have chosen a counter with white quartz coating, white and black melamine kitchen cabinets for a contrast effect. We have completed the counter with a white ceramic backsplash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our kitchen designer advised our customers on stainless steel appliances (two-door refrigerator with freezer, electric stove and dishwasher), as well as a single-tank stainless steel sink with matching faucets. For the dining room furniture, we opted for a simple rectangular wooden table with two black chairs, a white chair and a yellow chair for a touch of colour.
