Project description

For this project, our main mandate was to modernize the dining room, while maintaining a warm atmosphere. First, we removed the old split and scratched ceramic floor, replastered several areas, and refurbished the electrical system. 

To have more space at the kitchen table, we have built a bench that can accommodate at least two other people at the table. To maximize the storage of the dining room, we have added glass cabinets with shelves and built-in drawers on each side of the kitchen bench. We have also replaced the melamine countertop covering with a laminate covering that is more durable and easier to maintain. 

Given the abundant natural light in this part of the house, customers chose to add recessed bulbs under the cabinets and a light fixture suspended above the kitchen table. To accentuate the warmth, our design team recommended the addition of colourful accessories such as cushions with various patterns and a matching carpet.
