In our business, we have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that are very different from each other. These customers from Ahuntsic wanted to transform their kitchen space into a luxury kitchen, with natural materials, to give a style that is both rustic and contemporary.
The first step of this project was to dispose of the old kitchen and its components. We removed all cabinets and counters, as well as the sink and appliances. Subsequently, we carried out electrical and plumbing work to ensure that they were compliant and could meet the needs of our customers.
We opted for a ceramic floor that is resistant, elegant and easy to clean. As our customers appreciate natural materials, all the kitchen counters are made of granite. The counter also includes a sink with a half bowl and a hand shower, as well as a dishwasher and a gas stove. The latter is topped by a chimney hood. We have added custom melamine kitchen cabinets for maximum storage. We have completed this space with a white ceramic backsplash.
The centrepiece is a custom-made kitchen island with solid wood covering and a series of custom-made melamine cabinets and drawers. This island also includes tablets and a mini-cellar. Our kitchen designer recommended the purchase of a double-door stainless steel finish refrigerator to accentuate the contemporary look. We have completed this luxury kitchen with a small wooden counter, made of recycled wood, as well as three benches, for a practical and space-saving dining area.
