Project description

For this particular project, our Montreal clients had an extension built to their bungalow many years ago. However, as time passed, the home addition showed several signs of wear, particularly on the windows and exterior siding. So they called on our services to carry out exterior renovation work on an extension to ensure that it remains practical, durable and easy to maintain. Our team of designers and architects got to work and designed a 3D plan and a model of the changes that will be made to the expansion.

First, we partially demolished the roof and exterior siding. We also removed the old windows. Subsequently, our construction technicians rebuilt the roof with asphalt shingles and added a new vinyl siding that is very resistant and easy to maintain. The windows have been changed to energy-efficient casement windows for greater energy economy. The expansion also included an exterior access to the basement of the residence. We demolished the old metal vestibule and replaced it with a treated wooden entrance with a steel door.
