Project description

Whether to it is resell your duplex, or simply to give it a new and modern style, exterior renovation is a wise investment for any owner. This Rosemont duplex owner called on us to make drastic changes to his duplex, mainly on the exterior siding. Our design and architectural team set to work to develop a detailed plan that would meet the client’s schedule and budget requirements.

Before starting the work, we made sure that we obtained all the necessary building permits to comply with the municipality’s construction standards and regulations. We started the project by removing the exterior siding, doors, windows, two balconies and the roof above the 2nd floor balcony. At the customer’s request, we had to preserve the spiral staircase between the two floors. Our team has ensured that the remaining materials are disposed of in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.

We have replaced the old exterior siding with brick, which is more uniform and durable. We selected energy-efficient casement windows that would save the owner money on energy costs. We also changed the wooden doors to steel doors. Concrete balconies have also been replaced by balconies made of composite panels and slabs, which are less prone to cracks and crevices.
