Project description

For this colossal project, our client wanted to kill two birds with one stone, by building a simple garage that would also serve as a workshop, but also a half-floor above the garage to expand his residence. Our team of architects and designers immediately set to work to design a 3D plan and model for this construction. 

Before starting the work, we had to obtain the necessary building permits to comply with the building standards in force in the municipality. Then, we poured the foundations and built the structure and walls of the garage. Then, we installed an electrical system and a single steel garage door.

For the second part of the project, we first built the half-floor’s roof. Then, we added the beams, insulation and flooring, before raising the walls and structure. Our workers preceded the sealing of the new floor, the electricity installation and the installation of windows. The customer opted for a red brick covering, identical to his residence. We also changed the front door to a steel door with lateral glass insertion and changed the window to an ox-eye.
